Talk by Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche

People always feel unhappy because of-- expectation.

it's your fren's bday and you buy him a RM100 gift, and then u started to wait for the gift he will give to u on your bday, u expect he buy u RM100 gift or even above more.

but when your fren buy u a RM50 gift,
you smile and says thank you but in your heart you said "bullshit!" .
Dissatisfaction rises. and now, will you feel happy?

if your happiness is related to the environment, your frens and family, your surrounding, your hobby and so on, when it breaks, you lost your happiness. however, if u understand yourself more, you calming down, your care and you love, then your mind will be peace, and you gain the true happiness. 


第一次听英文的佛学,riponche又死鬼幽默!很好笑,也很容易接受。
他说了三个重点:
1,找到自己真正的情绪,看清自己,接受自己。understanding yourself.
2. 放松心情,沉淀自己,给自己创造一个空间。 happiness and suffering come from mind, thus wat we gotta do is create a space (short meditation) for your mind.
3. 多替别人着想。put urself on other's situation.
佛陀教导我们的,不是让我们依赖佛法,佛陀说什么我们做什么,(dependent)这太拘束了。佛陀说,不要追求外在的快乐,那不长久,我们要看往自己的内心。细细品味佛陀的教诲,了解透彻,那么我们是很independent的,靠自己的力量与佛陀的智慧,就可以找到内心真正的平静和喜悦。
把爱传出去,多为别人着想,从改变自己做起!
